NYP and IVT Sign a Cooperative Agreement on Robot Mouse Project

From March 16 to 19, 8 leaders and experts from NYP visited our institute and received warm welcome. The delegation consisted of Deputy President Mr. He Shiliang, Senior dean of Electronic Engineering Department, Chen Yaoming, Senior director of International Project Center, Xie Changrong, Senior Consultant, Dr. Feng Yiming and robot expert team led by Mr. He Tanyuan

 

On the 18th, NYP expert, Mr. Xiao Bingxin made a wonderful report on robot mouse project which was represented of advanced robot technology and other fruits from NYP on robot mouse technology to the teachers and students from IVT and other colleges.

 

On the 18th afternoon, at Paiyuan meeting room, President Shan Qiang and Deputy President He shiliang signed the cooperative agreement on robot mouse project formally. NYP will provide software and technology, and IVT is responsible on developing and popularizing this project in China. Two parties will work together to impel robot technology in the field of High vocational education in China.

 

The research and development of robot mouse and the competition on it have lasted many years. The competition rules demand each team research and develop small and smart intellective robot mouse. The mouse must calculate by itself the best route from the starting place to the ending place in the maze and run over the route as soon as possible. Singapore, Japan and U.S. work better in this field. NYP began to research robot mouse at 1985. After several generations’ development, NYP’s robot mouse has become one of the best ones in the world and has won many champions in the international competitions.

 

This strategic cooperation between two parties means their cooperation has been turning into the deep level of technological cooperation.
