ORDERS

To order goods through this website you must be at least 18 years of age. We may request proof of address and/or proof of identification from you before your order can be processed. If this is the case we will advise you on all information required.

PAYMENT

Payment can be made by any major credit/debit card via our web site or by fax, post or telephone. Kanel also accept electronic bank transfer & Pay Pal . All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we have the right to cancel the order. Please have to hand your most recent and up to date credit / debit card as incorrect information given will cause delays in your order being processed. Kanel reserve the right to charge 2% for credit card transactions. All payments will be charged to your credit card / debit card by Kanel Installations Ltd .

PRICING ERRORS

In the event a product is listed at a wrong price (for example due to a typographical, software, human or supplier error) Kanel have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed prior to a contract being made. This includes all prices advertised electronically, sent via promotional electronic and standard post, or by any other applicable medium.

DELIVERY

Delivery charges are in addition to product price unless otherwise stated. Where delivery is included, this is standard UK mainland delivery only. A further charge may be levied for delivery to other areas, to areas with congestion charges or for specific time requirements. If you have specific delivery requirements (for example out of hours, or weekend delivery), please ask when placing your order and we will be happy to give you a quote.

Deliveries will only be made to the cardholders address. Further proof of address and/or ID may be required for delivery or collection. All parcels we send are insured at no extra cost; however should you wish to collect or redirect the goods to a different address you should make sure they have your own appropriate insurance.

The majority of our deliveries are made within 5 working days of payment being received, if the products are in stock. Delivery dates for out of stock items will be advised on order.

Please note that we shall not be liable for any consequential losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay in delivering goods that are beyond our reasonable control (for example delays caused by acts of God, war, rioting, fire, flood, and terrorism). In the unlikely event that your product appears lost or is damaged in transit please contact us. We advise all customers to check all products for damage before signing for their receipt as in good, clean, undamaged condition.

If your order arrives damaged or incomplete please notify the courier on delivery and inform us within 24 hours. We will do our best to sort out all problems as quickly as possible. We will only ship products outside the UK in special circumstances, usually wholesale container orders or sample requests. Please contact us with your specific requirements.

PRODUCT GUARANTEES OF GOODS

All products supplied are covered by the manufacturers' own warranty which is normally for a period of twelve months from the date of delivery: ( Receivers, Cams and Motors). This covers parts and labour to repair product that has became faulty due to manufacturing faults. Guarantees do not cover goods which have become faulty as the result of misuse or mishandling. Viewing Cards are Guaranteed to work for the full subscription period 3, 6 or 12 months . Viewing cards that are pre ordered  are not be refunded once activated please note this when ordering.

Any viewing cards that are purchased from Kanelsat.tv are for domestic use only and must be used within the broadcasters terms viewing cards that are returned faulty  and have been used within a smargo card reader or network sharing will not be refunded and will be reported to the broadcasters security dept.

GENERAL

The company reserves the right to change these terms and conditions of use at any time by posting changes online. The customer is responsible for reviewing regularly information posted online to obtain timely notice of such changes. The customer's continued use of this site after changes are posted constitutes the customer's acceptance of these terms and conditions of use as modified by the posted changes. You agree to use this site only for lawful purposes, and in a manner which does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of this site by any third party.

STANDARD INSTALLATION

This service is available for domestic premises only. A standard installation is defined in the following terms: The property is of standard construction, not more than two stories in height (excluding any cellar or basement). There are no access difficulties and the installer is able to work from a standard extension ladder. The aerial or satellite dish can be mounted using standard wall brackets. Each tv, freeview or satellite receiver can be reached by an external surface mounted downlead cable not more than 20 metres in length. The installation can be completed safely by one installer within approximately one hour for the first point, plus approx. 30 minutes for each additional point.

The standard installation service includes the following: the supply, installation and alignment of a Aerial or Satellite Dish which is suitable for the reception of the desired freeview,freesat,sky or European services – satellite specific Astra/Eutelsat (dish size 45cm to 80cm – mesh type). The installation of pre-supplied standard mounting brackets – site specific (wall mount). The supply and installation of a surface mounted downlead to a suitable position for connection to the customer’s digital receiver (please note: additional rooms will require additional cables). All wall entry holes will be properly sealed against the elements using silicon sealant and appropriate internal/external weather covers. Carry out a final assessment of received services to confirm the new service is operational to agreed levels following the Aerial or Satellite dish system installation (coverage restrictions apply). Connection to your existing TV/associated equipment and demonstration. Tidy and vacuum the work space on completion.

EXCLUSIONS

The following situations are deemed as a non-standard installation and not covered under our standard installation agreement.If more than two stories in height and no roof access available will require a two man team Please ask our installation team for more information if any of the following applies: non-domestic use property i.e. business locations, three-storey properties, communal systems (flats generally), specialist cable management (channelling out, lifting carpets, hiding of cables behind partition walls etc. In some situations you may require a non-standard Aerial or satellite dish installation which can be carried out but will incur additional costs. Examples of this are: specialist mounting materials/brackets (patio mounts, extended masts etc). Additional cable requirements. All additional costs will need to be paid at the point of installation and made payable directly to kanel.

The installer may quote additional charges for installations outside the scope of the standard conditions (example: special access requirements/specialist mounting materials/bespoke cable management), or for upgrading your option to a higher number of points. There is no obligation to accept an additional charge – you may cancel the installation and claim a refund instead. Any additional charges are paid directly to Kanel. Kanel have the right to charge for you for assisting you with  pro forma method statements and risk assesments or written information on antenna position when required by housing or factored premises , were a key or  pass is required for roof entry,were and when a key has not been pre handed or you have failed to abide by third party landlords requirements ie listed consent,entry from neighbouring property were you were required to do so ,you the customer will be required to pay Kanel a full call out that being not less that £48 Glasgow area to no more than £98 central scotland. (areas outwith will be charged deposit beforhand).

WARRANTY

Your Aerial or satellite dish installation is covered by a one year parts and labour warranty. We guarantee that the installation will remain free from defect caused by faulty materials or workmanship for a period of one year from the date of installation.A service call is covered by three months parts and labour warranty. Your statutory rights are not affected. No guarantee or warranty exists if an account is not paid in full, or if a payment cheque is 'Stopped' or refused by a customer's bank.

PRODUCTS AND LABOUR NOT GUARANTEED

• Any existing equipment not supplied by Kanel. • Underground cables/re-used existing cables. • Movement of satellite dishes when wind speeds exceed 68mph. • Movement of aerial/antenna when wind speeds exceed 78mph. • Existing equipment relocated . • Any equipment supplied by Kanel that has been moved,  an attempted repair by a non Kanel instructed third party. • Failure of "Freeview Freesat" equipment not supplied by Kanel due to incompatibility with Digital Switchover.All work out with the guarantee period. • Changes by programme providers such as changes to encryption, programming, transmitted frequencies and other technical parameters after date of installation. • Claims for any damage whatsoever that are not notified in writing within via recorded delivery mail and within 7 days of installation or call out date.             No guarantee or warranty exists if an account is not paid in full, or if a payment cheque is 'Stopped' or refused by a customer's bank.

DISPUTES

Should any dispute arise in connection with this Agreement, the parties shall attempt to settle same by negotiation however should the dispute not be resolved within 30 days of the first intimation of the dispute then parties shall attempt to settle it by Mediation in accordance with the Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution (CEDR) Model Mediation Procedure.

PRIVACY AND DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION TO THIRD PARTIES

 Kanel takes your privacy rights as a customer very seriously. This policy outlines the information we collect from our visitors and how we use it. Due to the ordering process certain information given by you at the time of ordering is collected lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

STATUTARY RIGHTS
